pulling puppy teeth: science disputes

Beats me! Interesting.

Re: pulling puppy teeth: science disputes

Interesting article. 2 of my 5 children had to have braces but fortunately none of them had to have any teeth extractions. Fortunately, human canine teeth do not 'anchor' the jaw in position the same way that our dogs teeth do.

Re: pulling puppy teeth: science disputes

The 1988 study was on human teeth not puppy teeth and it was about making room for erupting adult teeth. Children have level bites all the way around. Their canines aren't much longer than incisors and don't wedge into the upper teeth and keep the jaw from growing as puppy canines can. How does this article correlate to pulling puppy canines to free up the jaw?
