Puppy Vaccines

At what age do you do your puppies first vaccines? Do you do them yourself or take them to your clinic for needles and health checks. I just had a litter of 11 done at the vet last week at a very reasonable cost, wondering what everyone else pays................

Re: Puppy Vaccines

In my neck of the woods, shots are expensive when done by my vet...$20 a pup. I gave them shots at 7 1/2 weeks myself with a few days to spare before they went home.

They had their exam at the vets the next day. I had a litter of 11 done for $50.

Those are low costs compared to my neck of the woods.

Re: Puppy Vaccines

very low priced.
Florida law requires health certs at 8 weeks to include vaccines, fecal, worming (no matter if they have worms or not) and check up.

cost is $48 for first pup , $45 for each after.
So a litter of 10 pups will run around $450 just for health certs.

I give my own parvo only vaccine, Neopar at 6 weeks.
