Albon or Tylan

My 5 week old pups are growing and are doing well but we now have lots of running stools. I cannot seem to find Corid in this neck of the woods but I do have Tylan powder. How do I mix this with water to make it acceptable for them to drink? Any other ideas would be welcomed. I have heard breeders talk about making their own Albon solution - any recipes?

Thanks.

Re: Albon or Tylan

I use Tylan powder in the drinking water..... 1/8 tsp to a gallon of water. Fill the 1 gal.jug 1/2 with water, add the Tylan powder, fill the rest of the jug, close the cap, and shake. They don't seem to notice the taste of such a small amn't of Tylan and drink it with no problems.

Re: Albon or Tylan

Have you wormed them one or twice at this point? If so, I would take a sample to be checked, if it's giardia - meds would be specific.
