A Nose is a Nose?

Are there any trademarks when picking a pup that would tend to let you know if the pup will have the longer more narrow nose if you really are looking for a nice square face with a short deep nose?

I've had 2 litters and I seem to always pick the pup for me that has the long nose

Any clues what to look for or not look for?

Thanks

Pat Hastings Puppy Puzzle will tell you about a small bump that can be felt on the rim of the eye that determines how the muzzle will grow, it's similar to a growth plate. She doesn't go into much detail about it and you can miss it if you aren't paying attention as she covers a lot of material very quickly. This should give you your answer if you know where to look.
