Drs. Foster & Smith Puppy Food?

Hi All,
I am considering using this food for an upcoming litter. Has anyone used this food and would like to share their experience(s) with it? Pros and cons?
What do you believe is the optimal percentages of protein and fat for a puppy food? This particular brand has 26% protein, 12% fat.
Thanks for any info you'd like to share.

Re: Drs. Foster & Smith Puppy Food?

I, personally, think the fat content is too low. I like to see it around 16%.

My biggest concern would be continuity of feeding after they leave you. No easy access to the food. I always use a food that people can have easy access to. This way the puppies do not change foods while going through stress of new home, vaccines, different water, etc. And the families are more likely to follow my feeding recommendations.
