The passing of Dorothy Nickels

This just came off of another list.
Dorothy Nickels passed away today about 1 TX time. Arrangements pending. She will be
cremated in her red sequin dress she wore to judge Eukanuba.

Re: The passing of Dorothy Nickels

How sad. She was a very nice lady and a fun person to show under. She had a great sense of humor and loved puppies. I remember stewarding for her several years ago...we laughed and laughed that day.

More judges should enjoy their assignments the way she always did. She loved dogs and dog shows, and appreciated breeders for the work they did. She will be missed.

Best regards,

Fairwell to a Great Lady. Very much enjoyed showing to her.

Re: The passing of Dorothy Nickels

Her passing strikes me very sad. Someone had pointed out that I was in one of her books only this weekend. I thought back on her fondly, but only knew her from a distant. It should make us all reflect that greatness is such a gift, life is passing. I will be sad. D
