Has anyone ever had their dogs or puppies eat slugs and did they get sick from it???
We have had such a wet spring and the slugs are so bad this year, we are even finding them in the puppy pen and I fear that the puppies have eaten them as they have some loose stools.
Any safe suggestions to get rid of those damn slugs, besides beer???

Try salt or diatomaceous earth.

try putting empty tuna or cat food cans outside the kennels filled with beer.

The slugs will flock to it and drown. It is gross to find them filling the can the next day but it does work.
