For a dog who is just starting to blow coat, does anyone have a trick..

to delay or slow it down just for a few weeks, just need to get through some shows then it can all fall out! TIA!

My handlers tell me they bathe them in cold water each day.

Yep exactly - was them in cold water and dont towel them off.

I mean, afterall, they are bred to swim in the icy waters of New Foundland!! It won't "hurt" them

Yeah, hosing them down with cold water and letting them air dry won't chill them or anything....I'm sure they'll be just fine.
