Anyone have any helpful tips for cleaning and refurbishing old crates? I'm assuming these are zinc finished. There are a few areas of rust but mostly it's just lots of "Lab grease" on the inside.

You could try Simple Green or Greased Lightening for the body grime.

Once they are clean, I like to give them a few coats of Rustoleum Black Enamel. It makes them look like new!
