OFA's-digital or film?

Trying to figure out which will give you a better chance at a good OFA score. Can some of you post your results, and whether your vet sent in digital pictures electronically, or actual film xrays.

Re: OFA's-digital or film?

I think you need a GODD vet that knows what they are doing, regardless of what type they submit. We have had success with both digital and films.

Re: OFA's-digital or film?

Its all about the skill of the vet. I prefer CD's. Your vet can make a second copy for you to keep as well. You can go back and look at them anytime on your computer. It also allows you to compare visually hip & elbows on different dogs you have in your breeding program now and in the future. I also find the resolution crisper than film.

As long as the vet does them right, I don't care.
