Great! Thanks for the quick advice. Don't have any Skin so soft (although I should because mosquitoes LOVE me), so will try peanut butter.

Which Goo Gone? Household? Car? Patio Furniture? They make several. What do you use? Thanks!

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

Hi.. hmmm, well, I went and got it out of the utility room and on it, it doesn't say one of those that you asked about. It just says, Goo Gone spray gel, Removes sticky, gummy, greasy, gooey problems... and shows pictures of several things it can take care of. It's all organic and has no harsh solvents in it.

I purchased mine at bed bath and beyond.

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

Just use Veg oil it is amazing, you will have to then wash out the oil.

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

I use baby oil, and it smells nice too.

What are tree saps?

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

Tree sap is a sticky substance that oozes from trees. W/out getting too technical, pressure builds up in the tree and when it has an opening from a crack or injury wound, it'll ooze through. Damaged trees will leak sap.

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

Thats what I use living in all these pinetrees. Just a little baby oil and it is so gentle. Comb it right out.

Re: What gets sap out of a coat?

I use alcohol. It's multi-purpose, so it's always in the show kit.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had baby oil in the house and it worked great! Poor baby had sap all over his ears!
