What should you be feeding a girl that is going to be having puppies? I have increased her food but does anyone give any other supplements? Like Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Chicken, liver etc? Dont' want puppies to small but not to big she can't deliver either.
We do not increase food until the seven week mark, and only sligthly. We do give yogurt to all our dogs so this is something we always give to our pregnant girls. Cottage cheese we start at around the 8 week mark and only give a few spoonfuls daily.
