I know that a lot of shipped, chilled AI breedings are written down on the AKC Registration papers as a natural cover. How about when you do a TCI or a surgical insemination at the Veterinarian's office? Do you have the stud dog owners vet, and your vet use this AKC form? Or do you write it in as a natural cover too?

Mine was done at Dr. Hutch. His office filled out their section, sent it to me, I filled out my bitch section and sent it to semen owner to sign. Semen owner, not dog owner. Then sent it to AKC.

You should ask the vet that did perform the TCI or Surgical AI to find out how they handle it. I don't know of any repro vets that will call either a natural breeding. The paperwork isn't difficult and can be ready way before the pups go to their new homes.
An AI done with shipped semen or a side by side AI, doesn't involve a Repro Vet's office. You can't compare that to a vet performed procedure. That is discussed between bitch and stud dog owners.
My advice is to call the repro vet you used for their registration protocal in these situations.
