What works well for those of you who have had a need to put weight on a dog? I have several that need weight and I can't seem to get the needed pounds on them. They are fit, but they could stand a little more fat covering their ribs. They eat a good measurement of food, but I'm looking for something to help with weight gain.
I used Showstopper for a while to help with coat, and had to stop because in addition to a beautiful coat I ended up with very portly group of fatties lol. I tried to cut it down to half the recommended amount but still couldn't use it because of the weight-gaining side effect.
When I have one who seems to need weight, it is often because I am impatient and want them to mature faster than they can. Remember, many who have mature weight at 18 months old, often are elephants at 5.
