Yes, about a week before whelping my vet gives me a prescription for medical oxygen. I now have both a face bell and a homemade incubator if needed.
I have also used Whelp Wise and liked it. I used it on what I would consider a higher risk girl and the support I got from Whelp Wise was terrific. They also worked directly with my repro Vet and he liked the fact.
I used whelp wise 3 years ago for a high risk pregnancy and liked it as well. I truly believe that whelp wise saved that litter (had to go in for an emergency c section due to fading heart rates). Downfall was we had to use it for about a month to monitor contractions, so it came with a big price tag....
