I need the requirements for Eukanuba Large breed puppy food for 14 pounds (10 week)

I have been on Eukanuba Website for several minutes, and cannot find this information.

I use a Daily Caloric Needs Table for my pups (along with watching how much they eat, of what I put down, and how they look). For 10 weeks at about 15 lbs - it calls for 975 calories a day. How much has she been eating?

These guideline amounts are a starting point and your pet may need more food depending on age, activity and temperament. In order to reach optimal body condition, you may need to adjust food intake. This represents the total recommended volume of food per day. You should divide the total recommended feeding amount by the number of times you feed your pet per day to get the actual portion size per feeding.

I would not follow what the bag says. As the other poster said, feed based on what the puppy needs. Each puppy is different and each may need a different amount. If I fed what the bags say, I would have skinny puppies most of the time!!

The puppy buyer was giving her 2 cups a day, and I told her she should be eating at least 3 cups, however, I could not find the eukanuba chart on line.

I feed Back to Basics, which has 440 calories per cup, so that would be about 2 1/4 cups. Alot of large breed puppy food has about 375 to 385 calories per cup. That would be about 2 3/4 cups. That is in general and would have to be adjusted for each waistline.

Just an aside - my 8 week old pups are 15 lbs now, so the chart calls for 1125 calories.
