Not that this matters much in the scheme of things...
But WHAT a glorious fall day it was here .. ducks and geese by the droves coming off the St Lawrence River to nest in our beaver ponds overnight and feed on our neighbour's corn fields .. Deer grazing in the field across the road ... wood smoke in the air, night falling, and an "autumn supper" cooking in the oven ... a glass of wine with wonderful friends on the deck in the sun this afternoon, and a glass or two with supper tonight, Labradors underfoot every where ... Does it really get much better than this??

Sounds like peace on earth......Lovely day here in Little Rhode Island too! Had the windows opened all day, nice dinner in the oven and maybe one glass of wine to toast a fine day!

Sounds like a little piece of heaven!

We also have our little peace of heaven . Another "glorious fall day" in the Sierra Nevada foothills, sitting around our fire ring with a glass of Sorella and our 3 boys laying at our feet. AHHHH!
