I have not used mine in the kennel but when I have a new litter of puppies I have sat it in my office near the whelping box and it does a nice job, and then when I moved the pups to the lower level last year it is cooler there and instead of cranking the whole house heat up I put the Eden pure in the room which is 14 x 25 and it did a nice job. I am not sure how well it would do in an outdoor kennel as a main source of heat. Sorry I am no help there.
