Does it seem there are more chocolates showing and being bred these days ? think we go through these cycles where everyone wants at least one. The other thing that I notice is they are all being bred to a very small number of studs. 4 or 5 it seems. The yellows are alot the same but blacks can really pick and choose a nice selection of studs. I'am guilty too. May go Bb next time.

I think there are more chocolates WINNING these days because they are better than ever. It seems those 4 or 5 popular chocolate stud dogs are doing a fine job.

My common sense tells me there will always be more black available at stud.

Of course there will always be more black studs to pick from. Hoping with more chocolates out showing well these days there would be some new pedigrees and nice chocolate or bc to select from. The 4 or 5 are fine. But would not repeat a breeding until the offsprings are tested and x-rayed for all the clearances needed. To see also what you have for show. Some give up to early, so giving a pup two years to mature would give you an idea there. Right ?
