Labby hair on van upholstery

I have tried removing yellow dog hair from my van seats with: shop vac, house vac, tape, and sticky roller. None of these work well. Any other ideas?!

Get a black.

"Get a black."

I have blacks too and their hair sticks to the milk gallons!

Re: Labby hair on van upholstery

Try the water proof nylon seat covers from Cabellas.

Re: Labby hair on van upholstery

Try spraying static guard on the seats before you vacuum. It works for me. :)

I second the static guard. I leave it sit for a couple of minutes, then bruch the seats with a towel before vacuumming.

Re: Labby hair on van upholstery

I gently use a shedding blade scraper from my horse tack to scrape the hair into tufts and then I use duct tape to grab it. Works great on smooth upholstery.

Wear khaki :)

Scotch pads work too at getting it to cling and bunch up. I haven't tried the static guard.

You will be amazed and quite possibly disgusted.

It looks like you can't empty out that pet roller - how much are they? I'm sure I could fill it up in one use!

Re: Labby hair on van upholstery

I made mine reusable in about 5 minutes with some self adhesive velcro and they last about 2-3 weeks that way, I do my couch every day or so with it.
