Do any of you allow access to dry kibble while starting to wean with typical puppy mash? Puppies are 3 1/2 weeks old, a large litter of 9.

I usually put dry kibble in the box at about 4 wks and it stays there all the time.

Of course this is a personal choice. But
I have known of older puppies who have died choking on kibble... I use a food processor and add water to the kibble until they are 7-8 weeks old and ready to go to their forever families. They love the mush, and it's easy enough to do....Didn't have any issues transitioning to the dry food when I did.
