Anyone ever experience weak sphincter muscle in a puppy before?

Maybe you could elaborate on this? How do you know that this is the problem? Is it an ectopic ureter? Sex of puppy? Has the puppy been spayed? How old is the puppy?

I simply asked if anyone has experienced a weak sphincter muscle in a puppy or not. I am not asking for a diagnosis.

Do you mean the anal sphincter muscle, the bladder sphincter, one of the gastric/lower G.I. sphincters, or one of the many other sphincter muscles?

You really haven't given enough info; what are the puppy's symptoms?

Yep - he pooped and piddled alot in the house until they got stronger and he could hold it until he got outside.

Some puppies take longer to mature than others. If there is no infection, which is common on bitch puppies, you'll just need to take him/her outside more for awhile.
