Does anyone have an opinion on the Econo Lodge on Francis Scott Key Dr for this years Potomac? Or, anyone have a cheaper choice than the Host or WannaBe Host Hotel(HI Express)?

I'm staying at the Travelodge. I did last year, too and it suited me fine. There a few other Potomac-goers that were there, too. It's 1 1/2 miles from the Potomac site, and at $58 bucks a night I couldn't beat it. It is very basic but immaculately clean. They do have a TV with cable, a fridge in the room as well as coffee maker, iron, etc...and the pet deposit is refunded after you check out. If you're looking for cheap, here ya go.
