Does anyone know of another way to take a dogs temp other than rectally? Will the human ear thermometers work on dogs? Or the temperal scanners? Sure would love it if I could use the ear thermometer.

I use the temp-scan microchips. In addition to having permanent ID, you can read their core temp with the scanner. It is fast and easy.
