After whelping how much calcium should you give your girl? One tablet a day? I have PetCal and it says 1 tablet per 20 lbs a day but I didn't know if 4 tablets would be too much.

Hi, don't give what the bottle says if she's eating a quality feed and getting all she needs. I give 1 2x daily for the first 3wks(they are at peak lactation at 3wks)and then no more. I've been doing this for years and I've (yet) to have a bitch have issues with eclampsia.
