Think ahead for your dogs. Some are not use to the extreme heat. News calling for the next 5 days to be extreme, the worst in years. Buy fans, find shade, the heat can kill. Leave the dogs at home, no car rides. Some areas more use to this mess than others, just take care !

Wise advice. I agree! Leave them home!!! Kiddie pools and fans are the best.

Well you know that won't happen for most. But the best. Its for those poor dogs with not much cover and an Igloo. Don't let them work or play hard for long either. Just not worth it this week.

I've got A/C in the kennel building, along with lots of shade and often-refilled baby pools (the well water is still very cold). So far dogs have been fine.
