safeguard wormer in pellet form

I currently use safeguard cattle liquid wormer twice a year on my 10 labs.

Has anyone considered using the safeguard pellet over feed?
it is an alfalfa based pellet and meant to add as a top ration over feed.

Re: safeguard wormer in pellet form

I would be worried that you couldn't get as accurate a dose as you can with the paste. Since the wormer is mixed with alfalfa and other ingredients, the concentration would be different and I think maybe harder to give the correct amount. Maybe??

Re: safeguard wormer in pellet form

I would not be worried about ingredients so much it is in alfalfa base pellet with mineral oil to hold together. but could you get the right amount into them with the pellet??
and would it be cost efficient?
