I have a litter they are just 8 weeks old and there are several puppies that have potential. A couple of the boys have turned out nicer than the girls. I was planning to run on a boy and a girl. What is the norm, do most breeders keep mostly the girls to use for breeding later? The breeder I started out with said, to never keep the boys. I like to show the boys. Personally I have had better luck with them and they have finished easier than my girls. What do most breeders keep to run on girls or boys or one of each?
I agree. Keep what YOU want regardless of color or sex. Then that way you kept what was the best & not settled for a pup because it was what your "suppose" to keep.
