Yes.
I use either Farmacy Liquid dispersable digestive enhancer( and use this on humans too) or Probios. I have used human products on the dogs if I was out of the other two, but I like that they are in powder form and I sprinkle it on the food. I start my puppies on some just before 2 weeks when they are first wormed, then the day after. Then I start them on some with their puppy gruel and continue each day for the duration till they leave.
I don't know how much of an effect it would have but it can help to keep their immune system stronger as a big part of our immune function starts in the intestines, but I have only had one case of mild strangles in 3 puppies a few years ago, but we had never had it before nor since.
