My 4 yr old male now has a clicking sound in his hip when walking . He came up lame in that leg after playing soccer. He was not able to put weight on it for a couple of days so I kept him in , no playing or walks. Today I took him for a walk around the neighborhood and heard the clicking sound. Is this a sign of hip dysplasia? I didn't take him to the vet because I thought he just strained something. Im a pet owner and worried. ShouldI take him in for xrays or just let him rest (no walks) for a longer period?
