Last I knew, spectators are allowed to take pictures. A heads up- bags are searched when you enter the Garden. Well, kind of- you're asked to open them so they guy can look in. I put everything in big, clear, zip lock type bags in my back pack to make these searches easier.

eta- oh I forgot- the Garden doesn't allow video cameras, tho.

I would not want to get there and not be allowed in!

You can bring any kind of digital camera, if it looks like a regular camera, you will be just fine!!

Yep. We take our camera in all the time, and it has video capablities. Funny thing, I just mentioned to my husband last month how we could actually take video with it and nobody would be the wiser.
