Ruvinsky and Sampson (Genetics of the Dog 1999) say that there is an Rh-like factor in dogs and that further research should be done, considering its importance in humans. My more recent reference on the results of the canine genome project is at home. I'll look at it tonight to see if it says anything more. A quick google didn't turn up anything useful.
