I have spoken to fellow breeders and an AKC rep with different answers and will call AKC tomorrow.
If you add a second owner onto your girl before she is bred,(about two weeks before breeding) but the Registration comes back from the AKC dated after the breeding but way before whelping,
Is that second person put onto the litter as second litter breeder or just second owner of the bitch?

If the date of transfer was before the breeding, then the other party is co-breeder of the litter and must be listed on the litter registration application. Regardless of the date of ISSUE of the changed registration, the date of ownership is the one entered on the form when you added the other person.
