Just keep in mind this is a practitioner, not a Specialist or a Cardiologist, so the clearance will be noted as such. Personally I prefer a cardiologist to do my echoes. There's a reason they have additional education!

This is very true in the perfect situations .And our club had talked about seeking out a cardiologist for the health clinic but its hard to find one to come and be affordable .And do all the tests. We felt we wouldnt benifit as many people in one area either overal.

So we felt this was an affordable health screening service we can offer.
Using a good veterinarian that has had extra training and experience in this area was good and he is good.
This walkin clinic has been a greatservice for people wishing to see whether their younger dogs have any problems early on with out bankrupting your self by going the route of a cardiologist . Im not saying that it isnt a prefered thing to do and use a heart specialist .
Some breed clubs require only using a cardiologist.That is fine but it is difficult at times since we all are not always close by these offices, to test too.
So for me , screening my young dog at the clinic for all 3 things before I dump to much in showing, or handlers ect is handy.

I feel we have helped alot of people in the past years at the Hoosier. And maybe we encouraged some to come here that might never have tested a dog if it was offered for $250.00 by a cardiologist.
I hope we have in some small way helped breeders improve their lines.
My dream that is .

I plan on bringing my 14 month old boy to this clinic. It's within a few hours driving distance and the price is right. Anything out of the ordinary will require a cardiologist to evaluate of course, but I will have an idea if I should keep pushing my boy along. Thank you for providing this clinic for us!
