Just a comment ... The LRCP is doing a great job with rescue. I reviewed the rescue website and this is how a rescue should be organized and run. Great job!!

They are the BEST! Volunteer and join their yahoo group email alias. It's a great way to learn the "daily beat" of life in a well-run Lab rescue and to learn why these dogs are put up for adoption. Plus, you'll meet some of the best people in dogs - very loving and caring! The personal rewards are endless from every moment volunteered. These dogs give us back much more than we ever give to them.
