I was hoping to get some help. My dad claims to have served in Vietnam on a PBR. I think he's full of s**t. I don't have a lot of info due to the "I don't want to talk about it" excuse. He's always said "when your older" I'm 32 for pete's sake!!! His name is Roger Gordon and he was born in '53. His claim is that he inlisted in the USN when he was 17. Can anyone shed some light or is my gut feeling correct?

I don't know your dad but if he is a PBR sailor or a wannabe it's not your call. You respect your dad no matter what he is. You are 32 and I am 60 and if I could find you I would open a can of whip ass on your disrespectful, no count ass.
