I'm so stoked! I went to the indoor pool here in Calgary and we were all busting off the platforms there. There's a 3,5,7, and 10 meter. Not very many people do tricks off the 10 meter, it's pretty high. So, anyways, I was up there and everyone was expecting my usual, a ganor. My heart was thumping and I dont' know what i was thinking but somehow I busted out a double ganor off the 10 meter.....in front of the dive club too! What an awesome feeling!!! So I encourage everyone to stick with it during the "winter". I always learn my new tricks during the winter and then get to show them off all summer long.

A double ganor from around 30 feet? That's freakin impressive. Insane props to Kirsten - a true Canadian and crazy Jump Junkie!

Thanks Guy! It's the greatest feeling in the world to accomplish something so freakin' insane. I can't wait to hit it up again...I'm kinda in recovery at the moment. The attempts didnt' go without damage though...my first one I pretty much stomped, then the second i bit my tongue and got a little bit of whiplash...the third I bruised the bottom of my foot and the last one left me with a 3 day long migraine. But it's totally worth it ha ha!!!! Once i get them dialed then there's no turning back for me, i'm moving on to triples.

Nice work, Kirsten! Truly inspiring. I tried the double off a 30 foot cliff at some falls early this summer, but I pulled out halfway through. I had plenty of fall time, so I've been toying with the idea since then. Sounds like you nailed it. Way awesome. Keep it up... ><>

That's insane girl!! I would love to have seen those double gainers!! It’s such a rush when you pull off a sweet trick in front of a lot of people…I miss doing that a lot! Everywhere there is a place to jump in San Diego has been shut down with the exception of two places…but they are so remote, it’s a hassle to make a trip to them on a regular basis. I need to find a pool here that has some diving boards…I would love to do some diving again. Anyway, Kudos to you for some awesome jumps!! If I ever get this stupid cliff jumping law repealed, I’ll be sure to invite you and all the other great cliff jumpers I have meet on the net.
