Today I spent some time with an old friend. I spent time with Bob Thompson at the Rose Hills Cemetery. Bob was resting under a large pepper tree next to a small lake while I cleaned his head stone.
It's taken me a while to find him... but I'll make sure his headstone is clean and neat and ready for anyone's inspection.
Bob resides next to his father who passed away in 1988.... I'll keep his head stone clean as well.

Good job, Mark, I have been wanting to do that for years but didn't know where to start. Can you send me the address of the Cemetery and the location of the grave? Back channel is fine, also did you locate any of the family?

Jimbo, Rose Hills is located in Whittier CA which is very close to Downey. It's one of the larger cemetery's in Southern Cal. and I figured the odds of Bob being buried there were good. The cemetery has a grave location search capability.
Go to www.rosehills.com, click on the 'grave location search' tab and type in "Thompson, Robert".
If you need any more help, just let me know. I have a digital camera and can take pictures for you if you like.
