The date and place for this year's Texas Mini-reunion has been tentatively set for

                                       September 16, 2006 in Galveston, Texas

It will be party time again. This time I will have a DVD to catch all the fun and games. What about If I film about 1 to 2 mintues of each one there and they can reflect on thier time in Nam.

I would also like to make simultaneous audio
recordings to place on one or both web sites

I tried the latter a few years ago but almost
everyone gets "mike fright" when you ask
them to talk about themselves for posterity

But maybe you have powers of persuasion
that I do not possess. I say: "Bring IT ON!"

I just have to act like a Chief and get things rolling or I will act like a Priest or minister and see what happen. I have been reading alot of email about our age, we aren't getting any younger, so this will be a way for us to share with our family what we did will in Nam. I know my father didn't say much about his time in the Navy during WW2. Now that he is no long around it would be nice to have an idea of what he did. I might just have us sit around a table and talk, you know sea stories some just might be ture.

PS Warren Diane and I will be in Austin in July 5 to 7th. I have been asked to work on a committee for TEA reviewing SDAA questions so Diane and I will be there on the 5th. We are stopping by TRS also just to see if we are losing money by working or not. Will give you a call when we are in Austin.
