Hi Fellow Swifties,
Does anyone know the details of the six (6)deaths and other casualties on PCF51 from 1967 onwards ?
The notable D. C. CURENT did give me some info on the boat's ambush during a raid in which he was also involved...that is, he towed the 51 boat out of the ambush as I understand it.
I was OIC of first crew outfitting the 51 boat at Subic and then being transported to VNM in 1966. Did 2 tours.

There were only 5 deaths on the 51 boat. Bob Thompson is listed as being on the 51 boat, however in talking with Keith Evans, OinC on Bob's crew when he was killed, they were on the 59 boat.
