a positive breakthrough

Hello,

We had a little breakthrough today in that my son has been accepted to have an assessment to be statemented. It may come to nothing after 6 weeks because they haven't had a case put forward for anxiety before. If he gets a statement then his secondary school will get additional funding to have his own one to one TA, and provide smaller class based work, etc.

I hope things work out for you and your son and you get the decision you are hoping for.
I know it can be a long lonely road sometimes.
