I know from experience that finding a tutor can be difficult. not just because of finding someone locally, but also the problem of getting a child there.

I have just stumbled across Bigfoot Tutors, which claims to be the UK’s leading online private tuition site. They provide one-to-one lessons in an online classroom via webcam and audio. Their tutors cover a wide range of topics and levels from Key Stage 2 up to postgraduate. There is a rigorous selection process and all of the tutors have a minimum of two years experience.
