By gosh it is August, and it has been a bit hot here.
I don't complain because out on the water in the Straits of Juan de Fuga it's cool, water temp is in the 50's and fishing and crabbing has been pretty good.
Had 3 grandchildren for a week and we are recovering today. Just bought our airline tickets to Charleston and are looking forward to another great time with some of the greatest shipmates and their wives in the world.
I have been watching the BBS for weeks now and finally Terry said something. Bout time.

yep about time, i tyhought everyone was on vacation or something. we have had a cool summer here in the midwest. it is great to not have it 100 plus. I remember a few days in 1954 summer in july when I was driving a semi in St. Louis when it hit 115 degrees, and that is how with the humitity here on the rivers. good to hear from you guys, see you in October
