Sea Robin

Hey Guys,
I was going through some old papers and came across all my stuff related to my time on the Sea Robin. I was only there from about the middle of 1969 till she was decommissioned. Charles Sheets, SK3(SS). I took Kruska's SK3(SS) place. I looked through the sailing list and recognized lots of names, and a few faces. I'm glad you guys have kept the website going. I just went over my quals card, looking for names. I evidently just missed some of you, it seems there was a turn over in 1967-68. Anyway, thanks for the website, it provided a short trip down memory lane. Thanks again.

Re: Sea Robin

SHIPMATE, thanks for checking in. WELCOME ABOARD.

We hope that you stay around and contribute often.

I served on Sea Robin from late 63 to AUG 67 as ETN2(SS), then was discharged to CIVLANT, never to return. During that time I served with a lot of great guys, some of them are regular posters.

I don't have a complete record of your contact info, so please use the email link below to send me the info for our records so I can forward a complete current copy of our list of SHIPMATES.

Sea Robin went into a YARD PERIOD @ Philly in late 67 right after I left, and was there until Spring of 68, which probably partially accounts for the turnover. Also a lot of the diesel boats were being decommissioned around that period with more nukes coming on-line.
