Re: REUNION ACTIVITY suggestions....PLEASE REPLY

I've been to Jacob Field where the Indians play. It's a nice but small stadium. It's down by the river close to an area called "The Flats." Eats, Bars and other entertainment. The Flats is a oular attraction in Cleveland. It might be goodto find out about the "Rock 'n Roll" Hall of fame. I thi k Cleveland has a fairly high rate of crime so what ever we do we probably should stay in a group. Paul; I'm assuming that you got the close out ledger from the MO bank. I directed the Bank to send it on to you. This was about amonth ago.

Re: REUNION ACTIVITY suggestions....PLEASE REPLY

As I recall you sent that to me. All is GOOD with respect to MO BANK, closed deal. I could not have gotten anywhere without you on that. THANKS again.

We are up & running with new bank (CHASE).

Re: REUNION ACTIVITY suggestions....PLEASE REPLY

SHIPMATES,

We will be travelling to CLEVELAND next week (5/15-18) and meet with our HOTEL contacts, as well as some meetings with USS COD MUSEUM curator.

We will be meeting up with our SHIPMATES Terry Klausen & Carolyn, and John Burke who has helped in arranging meetings to discuss a couple of activities that look interesting.

Such as:

USS COD MUSEUM - tour, ceremony, and catered luncheon.

Cleveland METROPARK ZOO - what you would normally do when you visit a Zoo. They have a TRAM that travels through the exhibits.

Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. - a lot to see there. Included places to grab a bite to eat.

GREAT LAKES MUSEUM - tour a restored Great Lakes 600 ft freighter.

Excursion Boat LUNCH CRUISE on Lake Erie.

All of these will have a cost attached and you will have a chance to pick & choose what you would like to participate in. A follow-up letter will contain the details.

If you have not made your HOTEL RESERVATION please do that NOW.

They all look great Paul. I'm sure you and Terry will have a wee nip while there.
