Re: John Altman

I think Ritter had cancer....Mike Donovan toldme about hispassing. Wewere both in Radio.

Re: John Altman

That was the diagnosis I heard also, from Mike. I understand that services have been held for him, but nothing published that I could find.

One of my favorite "Sea Stories" concerns Myron and the car he loaned to a group of us to make a speed-run to Providence one Friday afternoon. I've retorld it many times and always bring smiles. I brought the event up in Reno '99 and he also thought it was quite hilarious.

"Mike" was a GOOD SHIPMATE and withstood a bunch of personal abuse during those times, some of that originating from ME.

Sailor, rest your oar.

Re: John Altman

Dave Goodness
Does anybody know what ever happened to John Altman. He was from Eau Claire, Wisconsin?

CHIPPEWA FALLS was another place he used to mention, but I have not a trace of what happened to him.

The only info I have is JOHN L. ALTMAN EM3(SS)
