Covid 19

Friday May 1st went to Lab Corp to be tested for the Covid 19 antibodies. I tested positive. The last week in March 20-27th, I thought I had a cold. Saw my doctor on my normal wellness visit March20. He thought it was a cold. I had some of the cold symptoms, sore throat, slight cough and low grade fever 100f. The fever lasted about a week. I was weak but able to function. Only spent one day in bed. On the 27th I sweated all night and the fever broke. It took a couple of weeks to get my strength back. Cold medications didn't help during the first week and I stopped them. Ibuprofen helped keep the fever down. I had very few symptoms that were talked about but I apparently had the Covid 19 virus. I did have a slight shortness of breath with light excursion. I did talk to the doctors office several time during that first week, they checked on me regularly. I'm back to normal now, whatever that is. My wife was fine never showed any symptoms.

Re: Covid 19

glad you are ok,that must have been scary. Good your wife was ok.

Re: Covid 19

Close call Buttons.

It sounds like you'll recover and be back\k to your normal "good spirits".

No changes in our status here, family members are fine so far. HOPING that does not change.

Again, glad you were able to work through it. We're too old for this ****.

Re: Covid 19

I am back to normal now. Was weak for a couple of weeks after but got my strength back now. Never felt really horrible. Got up every day and did my normal routine, but didn't feel much like doing it! Only spent one day in bed.

Re: Covid 19

Glad you're back to normal.
