Article: I know that Jeanni Vidrine is the head of the secretariat right now and I do not know of any other members. I do know they are in the process of choosing some more members, as they have spoken to me that they were approached. I don't who decides who is on the secretariat. Any one else out there know any more??

Article: The secretariat is defined as a Group Reunion of priests, religous, and laity entrusted by the hierarchy with the apostolate of serving, direcdting and developing in the Cursillo Movement (in a diocese for for a whole country), this group should be mede up of leaders. They should have sufficient of the Movement, hold it in high esteem, and have indepth experience in
the movement. Have clear understanding of and LOYALTY to the MENTALITY WHICH GAVE BIRTH TO THE MOVEMENT, the purpose for which
it is meant, and the METHOD by which it achieves its SPECIFIC
OBJECTIVES. There is more but this will be good for starters.
We presently have a dissolved secretariat and this is what we need
to promote at these meetings. Notice, since ours dissolved there
has been no move to my knowledge at the present time or in the past, to establish a secretariat. These are the people that are
very helpful to the above mentioned aspects that keep intact the Cursillo method. They are appointed I believe. Pray for one another!

Article: Who appoints spiritual advisors or members of the Secretariat?
Different Dioceses have different customs. In some, suitable candidates are proposed by the School Of Leaders for the Bishop's approval. In others, the Secretariat selects candidates from the School for the Bishop's approval. Whichever system is used, it should be a discerning one that ensures that only the best persons are selected who are capable of fulfilling the role and who still meet the criteria for being a good Cursillo leader.
(I like the word "DIFFERENT CUSTOMS")!!!!
