Very simply put, the ultreyas are for the reunion of permanent


spiritual groups outside of the ultreyas. They gather as these


ultreyas(which means move forward) to do just that. This is done


in the format which has never really changed. By going over in


the pilgrims the format given. In fact, the pilgrims guide did


not have the added areas that are presently there. Adding this


some time ago did not take away from the purpose(effect) of the


spiritual grouping. We had the regular list of masses attended,


rosaries, spiritual direction... Then we went right into apostolic failures, successes, close moments, etc.. We had nothing in between as we do today. These two pages are really the


only ones the groups have to cover. This is due to the time


limit of the ultreya. The real spiritual meat of the permanent


is the last page of the grouping. A person who just came out


of a cursillo would be invited by any of the groups to be with


them. One could call it floating. How a new cursillista came


into a permament group was simply by two ways. They were invited


in one or stayed there until they sponsored others to form a group. The ideal cursillista went back into their parish and


sponsored others and in turn taught them about grouping. It is


not neccessary for permanent spiritual group member to be from


same parish. Attending the ultreyas is THE school of spiritual


grouping. That is where a great deal of spiritual learning takes


place at. Let us continue to pray and sacrifice.
