If you know anyone looking for a purebred Lab, the Joplin Humane Society has 8 purebred Labs including several 4-5 mos old pups. They have chocolate, yellow and black. These are nice, social dogs. They are the big heavy built type dogs, big feet, big block heads. The shelter does not have great luck placing Labs so some will be euth'd I'm sure. Please help get the word out if you know anyone looking! A breeder had them and could not sell them so dropped them at the shelter. Very sad to see nice purebred pups put to sleep!
Here is what I have as far as a phone number. Right now with my own problems of people building all around us, I can't take in any more dogs. There is no Lab rescue in Kansas City. We have sent this out to several other breed resuce groups in hopes that they might help.
